Twilio After Hours aims to create inclusive environments designed for groups who are commonly underrepresented in the tech community. It creates a space for authentic storytelling, engaging conversations, and personal and professional networking.
Â
The COVID-19 outbreak is changing the way we work and live. Job seekers, students, and new graduates must adapt to the new normal of interviewing virtually, accepting a job without ever meeting new colleagues in person or stepping foot into the office, on-boarding remotely, and working from home for the foreseeable future. Furthermore, under-represented minorities, women and non-binary people, veterans, people with disabilities, the LGBTQ+ community, and people with non-traditional backgrounds are experiencing these challenges at elevated rates.
Â
We are offering this free webinar to provide value to traditionally underserved communities and to help you acquire skills that will be key to remote hiring in these challenging times. Twilio After Hours: How to Ace Virtual Interviews will address the current hiring climate and teach best practices for making a great first impression, building relationships, and effectively highlighting your strengths virtually. Whether you are employed and thinking about making a career change or unemployed and actively seeking new opportunities, we encourage you to join.*
